Manganese Ore is the fourth most used metal in the world in terms of tonnage after iron, aluminium and copper. Its main applications are in steelmaking, as an alloying element and as a sulphide former and deoxidant. Roughly 90% of manganese consumed each year is being used in the steel industry. |
